Terms of Use
Terms governing the bridge.deepvoiceai.co website, the licensing pages, and the licence-generator portal. Version 1.0 — effective 15 May 2026.
What this page covers (and doesn't). These Terms of Use govern your use of the bridge.deepvoiceai.co website — including the public licensing page, the CLA page, the licence-generator portal, and any other static content served from this domain. Your use of the DVAI Bridge software itself is governed by the DVAI Bridge Community Licence (and, for commercial use, your separate Commercial Licence). Your contributions to the DVAI Bridge project are governed by the Contributor Licence Agreement.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Deep Voice AI Limited ("DVAI", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 16743132 and registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
For any enquiries about this website or these Terms, contact info@deepvoiceai.co.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use together with our Privacy Policy and any other notices we publish on the website from time to time. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.
If you are accessing the website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Permitted use of the website
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the website for the following purposes:
- Reading information about DVAI Bridge, its licensing model, and its terms.
- Submitting requests for a DVAI Bridge licence through the licence-generator portal where one is offered.
- Reviewing and electronically signing the DVAI Bridge Contributor Licence Agreement.
- Contacting us about commercial licensing, support, or other Bridge-related matters.
4. Restrictions
You must not:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, any account, or any underlying system.
- Use any automated means (scraping, crawling, bots) to access the website in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, except for well-behaved search-engine indexing.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form, including the licence-generator form.
- Use the website to distribute malware, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with the website's operation.
- Copy, modify, or redistribute the website's source code, templates, or design except as expressly permitted by us in writing or under an open-source licence we apply to a specific component.
- Use our trade marks (including "Deep Voice AI", "DVAI", "DVAI Bridge", and our logos) other than in accordance with the trade-mark provisions of the DVAI Bridge Community Licence.
5. The licence-generator portal
The website may include a portal through which you can request a DVAI Bridge licence. By submitting information through that portal, you agree that:
- The information you provide (name, company, email, intended use, audience domains, platform selection, etc.) is true, accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
- We may verify the information you provide and may decline to issue, or may revoke, a licence where the information is materially inaccurate or where issuance would breach applicable laws.
- We store the information you submit in our records and audit logs as part of our compliance with the DVAI Bridge Community Licence and any applicable Commercial Licence. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Issuance of a licence does not, by itself, create an agreement between you and us in respect of Commercial Use; Commercial Use requires a separate Commercial Licence executed in writing.
- The licence-generator portal is provided on an "as is" basis, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. The Contributor Licence Agreement workflow
If you sign the Contributor Licence Agreement through the CLA Assistant integration on this website or on our GitHub repository, you agree that:
- Your electronic acceptance, including via checkbox confirmation in the CLA Assistant flow, constitutes a legally binding signature.
- You are providing accurate identity information (GitHub username, email, name) and have authority to agree to the CLA on your own behalf or on behalf of the entity you represent.
- We retain a permanent audit record of your CLA acceptance, including timestamp, IP address, and CLA version, as part of our compliance with the dual-licensing model. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the website (including text, design, code, images, and the DVAI Bridge logo) is owned by Deep Voice AI Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property right to you. The licence in Section 3 is the only right granted to you.
The DVAI Bridge software itself is governed by its own licence (the DVAI Bridge Community Licence and, for commercial use, a separate Commercial Licence). Contributions made via this website's CLA workflow are governed by the Contributor Licence Agreement. Both of these are separate documents and prevail over these Terms in respect of their subject matter.
8. Third-party links
The website contains links to third-party sites (including GitHub, npm.js, package registries, and other resources). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is governed by the terms of those sites.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by unavailability of, or changes to, the website.
10. Disclaimers
The website and any content, tools, or services provided through it (including the licence-generator portal) are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all such warranties.
Content on the website is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal, financial, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals about any specific matter that depends on professional advice.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of applicable law.
Subject to the foregoing, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of the website;
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the website in any 12-month period will not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100).
You acknowledge that the website is offered to you free of charge, and that the foregoing limitations reflect a fair allocation of risk in that context.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Deep Voice AI Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms or your unlawful or unauthorised use of the website.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The amended Terms take effect on the date stated at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after the effective date of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. Material changes will be announced via the website or via email where reasonably practicable.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the website at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Sections 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16 survive termination.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the documents referenced in them (the DVAI Bridge Community Licence, any applicable Commercial Licence, the Contributor Licence Agreement, the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and us in respect of your use of the website and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject.
